About Calum Campbell

Calum is a trained teacher and has worked as an education consultant since 1999. Since beginning his career at an infant school in East London he has taught all primary age groups, worked with secondary age students, lectured at university and has ran training for adults in a number of areas.

His passion for education and ability in the classroom is reflected in the excellent feedback his courses receive. He has gained a Master’s Degree in Education and ensures that all of his training is grounded in practice. He makes this possible through the supply teaching he still enjoys in local schools whenever his consultancy commitments allow.

He has worked with educators in a range of diverse setting. This has taken him from Keswick to Kathmandu (where he had to dodge riots to get to the training venue) and from North-Yorkshire to Norway. He has also written articles relating to the practical implementation of philosophical enquiry and emotional literacy in classrooms.

Calum is currently based in Cumbria and spends his free time competing in cycle events, hillwalking and finding new restaurants to satisfy his desire for Indian food.
